About The Editor
Editor Kristie Poehler has been studying the Civil War for over twenty years. She published her first book, Gettysburg: The Monuments and Their Stories in 1996 and recently re-released it in time fo rthe Civil War Sesquicentennial. In 2000, she created a documentary with Connecticut Public Television entitled New England and the Civil War. This exciting program won the 2002 Telly Award for History. Her newest book, THE CAUSE, was published in 2010 and is available on Amazon.com.
Today, she is working on many projects, including the New England Civil War Heritage Foundation, which has created the New England and the Civil War Heritage Byway and she is writing the sequel to her first historical fiction, called For The Glory. She resides in Massachusetts.
